What determines intelligence in children?

My girl is JUST like the woman who played opposite Bruce Willis in Pulp Fiction. The one who asked "Who's Ned".. My girl is pregnate, I'm starting to worry the baby will be a few bricks short of a house. What can I do to prevent that?
