I hate these things, can anyone prove this identity, cot x + sin x / 1+cos x = csc x ?

I know this is pretty much memorization of the rules, but what I've found on the web seems very tedious. I am going to try to find something on youtube, but I would like a worded explanation for my records; thanks.
