Should I go see this guy or not?

Awhile ago I was interested in this guy who tours with a band. He's really cute and sweet and we got along great. I was soooo infatuated with him and was really excited when he told me that he liked me too. I saw him last over a year ago...I sent him a really cool birthday present but he never responded and ignored a few emails of mine too. I'm not sure what happened, he just started ignoring me (I never saw him anyway because he lives out of state and is always on tour with his band) Since then, I don't like him anymore but his band is coming to town. I kind of want to go see them. I figured if he acts weird then I don't have to hang out with him, is this a bad idea?
