How much do you know about the Pioneer 10 space probe?

ok i have to do a report on pioneer 10 space probey or whatever and what i've yet to find on the internet is, what it discovered? and what is its expected life span?(how long did they think it would work b4 they couldnt use it nomore or whatever) . i dont really think the answers have to be right just seem right cuz everyone is doing a report on different probes and...like my teacher knows everything about this probe anyway?
