I mean if you could make a team of the all-time greatest defensive players, they would probably score (maybe big-time) and the offense against them wouldn't. The two teams who played the Steelers one year in the conference championship game and the succeeding super bowl had about fifty yards of total offense between them; and I don't know that any one of them was the greatest that ever played his position, unless it was Mel Blount; opponents mostly did not even attempt to throw to the receiver he was covering.
